Our Specialty services have grown! We’re seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Internal Medicine and Surgery teams in a hybrid specialty role.
About the Role:
As a member of our Internal Medicine and Surgery team, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care across both services. This is a dynamic, cross-functional position where you’ll support a wide range of complex cases depending on hospital needs. This is an ideal position if you are interested in growing your specialty technician skillset!
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide surgical and nursing care in alignment with doctor’s orders
- Assist with internal medicine and surgical consultations, procedures, and diagnostics
- Perform diagnostic sample collection, in-house lab work, and accurate medical calculations
- Place and manage IV catheters; monitor anesthesia and track vital signs
- Assist with digital radiography and advanced imaging as needed
- Support patient care from intake through recovery, ensuring comfort and close monitoring
- Communicate clearly with clients, providing education and timely updates
- Collaborate closely with doctors and the care team to deliver organized, high-quality care
What You Bring
- At least 1 year of veterinary technician experience (internal medicine and/or surgery experience preferred)
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) preferred, not required
- Ability to stay organized, detail-oriented, and calm in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset
- Flexibility to adapt between internal medicine and surgery workflows as needed
- Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings or weekends
- Full-time, 36–40 hours per week
