In Your Day-to-day, You Will
- Provide skilled technical care to emergent and critically ill patients
- Triage and stabilize incoming ER cases as they arrive
- Assist the ER and specialty doctors with procedures, diagnostics, and treatments
- Monitor ICU and hospitalized patients, including telemetry and post-op recovery
- Administer medications, CRIs, and fluid therapy under doctor direction
- Place IV and central catheters, draw and run in-house labs, and track patient trends
- Support anesthesia, sedation, and analgesia for emergency cases
- Keep treatment sheets and medical records accurate and current
- Coach and support assistants and newer technicians on the floor
- Collaborate daily with the ER doctor team, technical staff, and specialty support
- Help sustain a supportive, high-functioning ER floor culture
- Active Washington LVT license, or eligibility to obtain WA licensure prior to start
- Emergency, ICU, or specialty nursing experience is a plus, though we will train the right candidate
- Confident venipuncture, catheter placement, and patient monitoring skills, plus the composure to stay steady during high-acuity cases
- Clear communication and strong teamwork; fluent English speaking and reading skills required
- Genuine care for patients and a team-first approach to the ER floor
