What You’ll Do
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout buildings and grounds
- Handle basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and caulking projects
- Repair or replace doors, windows, walls, fixtures, and other building components
- Perform wallpaper repairs and installation as needed
- Complete floor buffing and waxing
- Respond to maintenance requests and urgent repair needs
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Monitor supplies and communicate equipment or material needs
- Pick up and deliver approved maintenance materials
- Identify potential safety hazards and help maintain a safe environment
- Follow established safety, maintenance, and regulatory procedures
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid New York State driver's license
- Ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements
- Previous maintenance, facilities, or building maintenance experience preferred
- Experience with basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, or general repairs
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to travel between multiple locations throughout the Hudson Valley
- Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance needs
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
