Job Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for a full-time temporary assignment with an immediate start. This role is ideal for a Medical Assistant with 2–3 years of clinical experience who enjoys working directly with patients and supporting daily clinical operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
The Medical Assistant will play a key role in patient care, clinical support, and administrative tasks to help ensure efficient and compassionate service delivery.
Medical Assistant Responsibilities:
- Room patients and prepare exam rooms
- Take and document vital signs
- Perform blood draws and assist with basic clinical procedures
- Update and maintain accurate patient records
- Verify insurance information and assist with related documentation
- Support providers and clinical staff with additional Medical Assistant duties as needed
- Maintain a professional, patient-focused environment
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 2–3 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant
- Strong knowledge of clinical procedures including blood draws, vitals, and patient rooming
- Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy clinical environment
- Professional demeanor and patient-centered approach
Preferred Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA or equivalent)
- Experience with insurance verification and administrative support
- Bilingual abilities preferred but not required
- Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient healthcare setting
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks associated with patient care throughout the day
- Professional appearance and conduct required
