Staff Accountant Responsibilities
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments in accordance with GAAP
- Perform account and bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and maintain supporting schedules for key accounts
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and distribute financial reports, including revenue analysis and intercompany activity
- Assist with internal and external audit requests by compiling documentation and schedules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy of financial data and resolve issues
- Monitor financial activity and identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and reporting

- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP)
