Rotating on-call and snow removal required
Pay Range:
$20.50–$25.50 per hour, based on experience

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician III to support building systems and grounds in Staatsburg, NY. This role is responsible for maintaining safe, functional facilities through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely repairs. The ideal candidate has broad hands-on maintenance experience, works independently, and takes pride in keeping facilities operating efficiently.

Facilities Maintenance Technician 3 Responsibilities:

• Perform daily maintenance tasks efficiently and professionally
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair building maintenance issues as they arise
• Complete preventative maintenance according to scheduled procedures
• Identify hazards and take prompt corrective action to maintain a safe environment
• Ensure building systems are operating properly, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical
• Follow departmental standards, safety procedures, and maintenance guidelines
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage and snow removal operations

Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Hands-on experience in general building maintenance, including plumbing, heating, cooling, electrical, and wall repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently
• Must provide own basic tools
• Strong attention to safety, organization, and quality of work
• Dependable and able to work scheduled hours and on-call rotations

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Work performed indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor throughout the workday
• Ability to lift and carry maintenance materials and equipment as needed
