What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at Eternal Word Television Network Inc?
How will you impact the big picture:
The EWTN Custodian helps care for our campus by ensuring our buildings remain clean, welcoming, and well-maintained for all who enter. This role supports our mission by being a good steward of our resources and reflects our commitment to service and hospitality.
What will you do:
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs, break rooms, and restrooms.
- Empties wastebaskets.
- Dusts furniture and equipment.
- Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
- Replenishes supplies in bathrooms, and break rooms.
- Cleans all break rooms.
- Conduct periodic cleaning (inside and out) of fleet vans.
- Regular and prompt attendance to cover assigned shift.
- Additional duties as assigned.
About you:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in custodial, housekeeping maintenance
- Ability and willingness to follow specific instructions.
- Ability to properly operate buffers.
- Possess a valid Alabama driver’s license.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds or more as needed.
- High School diploma or GED.
