The Digital Experience team is transforming how we engage patients and customers through AI, human-centered design, omnichannel engagement, and advanced digital solutions. As a Principal Experience Designer, you will lead strategy and delivery for the Customer Experience (CX) Suite, defining how users engage with our digital products and driving measurable business impact. This is a senior individual contributor role with significant influence across patient- and customer-facing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape the digital experience design vision, standards, and innovation roadmap.
- Lead end-to-end UX/UI and CX design strategy for key digital products, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders, analytics, and technical teams to define target users, prioritize features, and set performance goals.
- Drive product planning, execution, and delivery milestones with measurable impact on adoption and engagement.
- Evangelize the value of UX/CX across the organization; communicate strategy to senior leaders.
- Partner with legal, compliance, privacy, and global product teams to ensure governance and shared efficiencies.
- Define business cases, requirements, and system health standards for product success.
- Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of collaboration, craft, and innovation.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, design, technology, marketing, or related field.
- 10 years of experience; 7 years in experience design, product design, UX/CX, or similar roles.
- Proven ability to lead full product lifecycle: vision, roadmap, execution, and measurement.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and cross-functional alignment skills.
- Experience in agile environments and highly regulated settings (legal/compliance).
- Strategic thinker with an ability to innovate and navigate ambiguity.
- Experience mentoring designers and influencing design quality.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree (MBA or related).
- Experience in healthcare, pharma, or highly regulated industries.
- Experience with workflow tools, automation systems, and compliance frameworks.
- Background in building or managing a design system.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $100.00 per hour
