Desktop Support Engineer

We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer (Level 2) / Deskside Services Technician to provide onsite technical support to end users. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting desktop hardware and software issues, resolving Level 2 technical incidents, and supporting users in a corporate IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 desktop and deskside support to end users.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop hardware and software.
• Support Microsoft Windows environments and common Microsoft applications.
• Perform user account and access-related troubleshooting using Active Directory.
• Respond to and manage incidents and service requests through IT ticketing systems.
• Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate support teams when required.
• Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and technical information accurately.
• Provide professional and customer-focused support to onsite users.
• Assist with equipment setup, replacement, deployment, and maintenance.

Required Skills

• Experience in Desktop Support, Deskside Support, or IT Support.
• Level 2 / Tier 2 technical support experience.
• Strong hardware and desktop troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting Windows operating systems.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory.
• Experience with Microsoft Office / Office 365.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing or ITSM systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service skills..

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience working in an enterprise/corporate IT environment.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM/ticketing platforms.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
