Physical Therapist (Pediatrics – Outpatient)
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days (9:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday | 36 Hours per Week
Required Qualifications
- Active California Physical Therapist (PT) License.
- Current BLS certification.
- Recent Pediatric Physical Therapy experience.
- Experience evaluating and treating torticollis.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an outpatient pediatric setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous outpatient pediatric rehabilitation experience.
- Previous travel healthcare experience.
- Experience treating infants and children with developmental delays or neurological and orthopedic conditions.
- Strong collaboration and family-centered care skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients with a variety of developmental and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions, including treatment for torticollis and other pediatric rehabilitation needs.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, therapeutic techniques, and ongoing care plans.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to achieve optimal functional outcomes.
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
