Title: Inpatient Pharmacist
Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73104
Contract Duration: 13-week contract
Schedule: 40 hours/week | 4 days/week | 10-hour shifts
Shift: Day or evening shifts, between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM
Pay: $3000-3100/Week

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriate dosing, and potential interactions.
• Prepare, compound, dispense, and distribute sterile and non-sterile medications, including IV admixtures.
• Support medication safety, reconciliation, and discharge counseling as assigned.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor medication inventory, automated dispensing cabinets, crash carts, and high-alert medications.
• Document clinical interventions, adverse drug reactions, and medication-related events.
• Support investigational drug studies, including medication storage, dispensing, accountability, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and regulatory inspections.

Required Qualifications:

• PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm/D.Ph.) from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy, as specified in the job description.
• Active Oklahoma Pharmacist License, or ability to obtain licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations, medication safety, and applicable regulatory standards.
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Epic electronic health records.
• Prior experience using Pyxis MedStation ES.
• Knowledge of USP standards and hospital pharmacy procedures.

Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,100.00 per week
