We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage cycle counts, maintain inventory accuracy, and support shop floor inventory needs in our Mazomanie office at ETC. This role partners closely with operations to monitor inventory levels, support new product releases, manage interplant transfers, and ensure data integrity within the ERP system. Representative Responsibilities:
Runs the cycle count/physical process
Identify what is to be counted and when
Ensures that the cycle count process is adhered to
Maintains graphs on the cycle count
Monitors location accuracy
Helps identify slow moving and obsolete inventory
Is primary contact for the shop floor on inventory issues
Monitors trouble parts weekly or monthly as required
Works with the release of new product to ensure locations are set up and parts are in inventory at current revisions
Is involved with ECOs in regard to removing inventory or tagging it for phase in/phase outs
Is involved with setting up new departments, moving departments when inventory is impacted
Helps to define Kanban scenarios for the shop floor, the creation and the control of these cards
Monitors and tracks consignment programs as to inventory accuracy and availability of parts
Monitors inventory values
Watches for inventory with 0 value
Helps to monitor the inventory decrease and increase in specific storage locations
Interplant transfers
Reviews the MRP daily on parts needing to transfer between buildings
Creates PO and the delivery for this process
Works with ETC international offices on air ship or container issues in regard to parts shipped.
Verifying counts if needed
Instruct departments/office on what needs to happen.
Other duties as assigned
Special projects and requests are completed in a timely and positive fashion
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or its equivalency (GED) and 2 years previous work experience in an inventory related job dealing with cycle counts, work orders and/or stockroom receiving preferred
Requires knowledge of computer software: Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and an ERP system
Good written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
High level of accuracy
Must be able to handle multiple, competing priorities efficiently and effectively
Able to work in a fast pace environment
Is self-motivated and works with minimal supervision
Is able to problem solve and make decisions
Must speak and write fluent English
Able to lift and carry 40 lbs
Strong communication skills
