Trophy Shop Team Member

Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and "handy" individual to join the ET Trophy Team. This role bridges the gap between customer service and hands-on award fabrication. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle—from greeting the customer and taking their order to physically building the award and ensuring it’s ready for pickup.

Key Responsibilities

Front of House (Customer Experience)

• Client Intake: Greet customers warmly and accurately capture project specifications, timelines, and personalization details.
• Administrative Support: Input order information into our management system and maintain an organized storefront. Ensure and handle prompt payment of orders.
• Shop Upkeep: Ensure the showroom and workspace remain clean, professional, and welcoming.

Back of House (Production & Fabrication)

• Fabrication: Pull raw materials, cut substrates to size (using circular saws and other power tools), and assemble finished trophies and plaques.
• Laser Engraving: Operate computer-based laser engraving software and hardware to personalize awards.
• Quality Control: Inspect every piece for accuracy and finish before packaging for the client.

Project Management

• Inventory: Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering materials to ensure no delays in production.
• Pipeline Management: Track multiple deadlines simultaneously to ensure all "need-by" dates are met.

Ideal Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical Aptitude: You are comfortable working with your hands and operating simple power tools safely. You know that “righty is tighty and lefty is loosey.”
• Tech Literate: Ability to learn engraving software and manage digital order systems.
• Communication: Clear verbal and written skills for interacting with clients and documenting project needs. You are also able to communicate to the rest of your team, whether you have a question or running into a challenge.
• Attention to Detail: In this business, a typo is a permanent mistake. You must have a "measure twice, cut once" mentality.
• Adaptability: Ability to pivot from projects and tasks.
• Self Management: Able to meet project deadlines.
• Availability: Able to work in the shop during open hours: Tuesday - Thursday 10am - 2pm (12 hrs).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Manual dexterity for assembling trophies and plaques.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
