Monique's Bake Shop / Island Acai Team Member

This application is for Monique's Bake Shop and the Island Acai operations, both located at Spooky Nook Sports.

Essential Job Functions

• Prepare and serve made-to-order acai items
• Contribute to the large production of food items and lead production in an orderly and timely fashion
• Complete POS transactions and make correct change
• Maintain highest quality and appearance of all baked goods
• Assist guests with dining requests
• Restocking condiments, napkins, utensils, etc.
• Operate bake shop area cash register and to-go window during peak times
• Completing inventory of ingredients
• Following proper recipe and portion control for menu items
• Following food safety guidelines for storage and disposal of product
• Manage all kitchen work areas for daily cleanliness including refrigerators and counter space
• Set-up and clean up of stand during opening and closing
• All other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

• 16 years of age or older
• Dependable transportation to and from work
• Language skills: Fluent knowledge of the English language; including the ability to read and interpret written information and speak and understand verbal communication
• Ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the position with any reasonable accommodations as necessary
• Authorized to work in the United States

Working Conditions

• Work environment: Upbeat, high-energy sports and event complex with heavy foot traffic and frequent large crowds.
• Physical requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be regularly required to perform physical activity that includes moving about the work area, standing, sitting, bending, reaching with hands and arms, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, hearing and smelling. The team member will be frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. He or she is required to have the visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
• Lifting requirements: The team member will be required to lift, push, pull, lower and/or move up to 10 lbs regularly, and up to 30 lbs occasionally.
• Noise Level: The noise level in this environment is typically moderate to loud.
