What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entrepreneurship Inter position at Esurgi, Inc.?
Esurgi is looking for a motivated and self-driven Entrepreneurship Intern. The Entrepreneurship Intern will be helping to commercialize and innovate products. You will assist in helping to define Esurgi’s direction and develop plans to realize company objectives. The ideal intern will help us to maintain our competitive advantage through allocating resources appropriately. This is an unpaid internship.
Job Responsibilities:
The entrepreneur would spearhead at least one of these initiatives.
Establish relationships and strategic partnerships with stakeholders (physical therapists, trade groups and insurance companies).
Maintain a strong focus on building client relations and strategic planning.
Establish proof of traction in pitch deck to address investor concerns.
Secure Investor Groups.
Find an expert Device Engineering Volunteer/Cofounder.
Attend weekly meetings, communicate, and respond to team members, mentor, and leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Majoring in Entrepreneurship, Business, Management, Public Health, Life Sciences, or any related field
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Ability to work remotely, independently and as part of a collaborative team
Preferred Requirements:
Has prior experience at an early-stage start-up company and/or experience working hybrid or remotely
Interested in or has knowledge of biomedical devices
A firm understanding of business operations and different markets
Experience within the strategy field, consulting, and venture capital preferred

About our Internships: An archetypical internship at Esurgi is essentially a special project in the work setting. The interns will be assigned a mentor with an executive background. The intern and the mentor will develop an internship plan. This will be based on the intern educational background, career goals, and realistic (preferably interdisciplinary / team) projects within the Esurgi sphere. The plan includes objectives, success factors, and deliverables. The intern and mentor will meet regularly to review the progress and plan of the intern.
