About the Role:
The Material Processor supports printing operations within a manufacturing environment by manually processing materials, assisting machine operators, and ensuring finished products meet quality standards. This role involves hand-rolling printed materials using stencils, handling finished goods, separating materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manually print materials using stencils and hand rollers.
- Assist machine operators by pulling and handling materials from printing machines.
- Catch and stack finished products as they exit the dryer.
- Inspect printed logos and designs to ensure print quality and accuracy.
- Separate materials that may become stuck together during the printing process.
- Remove waste materials and maintain cleanliness of the production area.
- Handle and use thinner and other approved chemicals in accordance with safety procedures.
- Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures.
- Support production goals and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand-motion tasks.
- Ability to lift, pull, bend, and move materials as needed.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to safely work with chemicals and follow all safety guidelines.
- Ability to work in an environment with exposure to printing inks, thinners, and other chemicals.
- Team-oriented with a dependable work ethic.
