Responsibilities
- Assist in scheduling trucks in and out of the facility, ensuring smooth and timely operations.
- Load and unload trucks (van trailers and flatbeds).
- Process various types of scrap metal (dumping, sorting, cutting).
- Accurately weigh and label different materials.
- Support month-end and year-end inventory counts.
- Perform other duties as assigned to keep operations running efficiently.
- Create paperwork for receiving material and shipping material out
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to operate a forklift, Sawzall, and steel strapping tools (previous forklift experience preferred).
- Ability to read and follow work instructions.
- Handle basic shipping paperwork for materials coming in and out.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted.
- Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Basic math skills required.
- Ability to learn and utilize our scrap yard management software
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where every day is different.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
