What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at Esterline and Sons?
Esterline and Sons MFG, located in the AirPark in Springfield, Ohio, is an aerospace CNC machine shop. We are experiencing a growth in production and looking for a qualified candidate for long-term employment.
- Reports to Quality Supervisor
- Blue print reading, an understanding of GD&T is a bonus
- Complete dimensional and visual inspections of first piece qualification
- Complete dimensional and visual inspections of finished goods
- Complete documentation: Certificate of Compliance, Certificate of Analysis, FAI, PPAP
- Able to make determinations between rework and scrap of nonconforming goods
- Must have experiences: common quality tools (calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, thread gauges, comparators, etc.), good communication skills, legible penmanship, reading skills (SOPs and specifications), computer skills (Microsoft Office), basic math and technical skills.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
