Now Hiring: Experienced Lead Service & Installation Technician
We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and dependable Lead Fireplace Service & Installation Technician to join our growing team. This full-time role involves both hands-on technical work and on-site leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install gas and wood-burning fireplace units
- Perform inspections, cleanings, and system diagnostics
- Repair and rebuild fireboxes, smoke chambers, crowns, and chimney caps
- Install stainless steel chimney liners and chase covers
- Install propane tanks and gas lines in compliance with code
- Evaluate venting systems and resolve drafting/ventilation issues
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding service findings and recommended repairs
- Maintain accurate and detailed service records and job notes
- Lead a small on-site crew and coordinate daily operations
- Prepare and present accurate customer estimates
- Ensure all work complies with industry codes and safety standards

Requirements
- CSIA Certification and/or NFI Certification is a plus
- Prior experience in the fireplace, chimney, or hearth industry
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Team player with a positive attitude and leadership ability
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (drug test and background check required)
- Ability to lift 80 lbs and work on rooftops and ladders
- Experience with framing or general construction is a plus
- Must live 20 miles from Holland, PA
- Ability to troubleshoot gas systems, venting issues, and chimney structural problems
Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
