Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee and coordinate nursing operations within our facility. This role is responsible for Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment for nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction for all nursing activities to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality care.
- Oversee daily operations within the nursing department, ensuring compliance with facility standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and care plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Support, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, promoting teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to address patient care needs and concerns.
Education & Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (required).
- Current RN license in good standing (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) or in a similar leadership role.
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility (SNF) is essential.
