About The Role

What You Will Do
- An Employee with uncompromised commitment to our I Care journey which ensures a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment.
- Leader of site’s Environmental Management System including writing, communicating and implementation of the site’s environmental policies
- Ensures adherence to environmental laws and regulations at the site including monitoring and reporting
- Ensures implementation and completion of environmental related company requirements
- Coordination of the RESH Environmental strategy and RESH OGSM for areas of environment as appliable at site level
- Identifies important, emerging environmental trends and ensures that the site is equipped to continually improve
- Executes environmental awareness programs across the site in alignment with company strategy
- Trains the Site Organization and supports transfer of skills related to environment
- Coordinates investigations and actions required through closure for Environmental incidents, non-compliances, and non-conformities
- Participates in internal and external environmental audits received and coordination of site lead internal environmental audits
- Point of contact for local environmental regulatory and affected certification agencies
- Participant with local trade associations regarding environmental topics
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field
- 1 years’ experience in environmental engineering or science preferred
- Proficiency in understanding and applying relevant environmental laws and regulations
- Experience in environmental management systems
- Technical knowledge across a broad spectrum of environmental aspects and requirements (e.g. water and wastewater, waste, air emissions, incident prevention and response, reporting, etc.)
- Ability to quickly learn systems used to manage environmental impact within the organization
- MS Office including File Manager, Excel, Word and Outlook, and Teams, or ability to learn in a timely manner
- Good communication skills in both verbal and written form
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Organization skills and attention to detail
- Leadership skills and ability to manage change effectively
