• The Essex Westford School District is seeking on-call RNs to serve as
  
  

a substitute school nurse.**

Essex Westford School District (EWSD) has an opportunity at**Essex High

School**for a substitute school nurse to join the EWSD community. This

position\'soperations include but are not limited to, following all

COVID-19 health and safety protocols, triage, physical assessment,

implementing health plans, responding to emergencies, and contacting

parents, providers, and school staff as necessary.

• Pay:**\$300.00 per day\
  
  

EWSD offers selected candidates up to a half-day of orientation before

serving as a substitute.

EWSD is willing to consider candidates who hold a valid Vermont LPN,

CNA, LNA or EMT License and wouldreceive a pay rate of \$150.00 per day.

• Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to
  
  

apply:**

• Qualified candidates must hold a valid Vermont RN license.
• Two years of nursing experience is desired. Pediatric experience
  
  

preferred.

• Ability to effectively handle stress and resolve conflicts
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of student
  
  

incidences and records

• Willingness and availability to work on short notice to cover
  
  

unanticipated absences strongly desired (e.g.: the morning of an

absence)
