What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position at Essential Speech and ABA Therapy Pearland?
Essential Speech and ABA Therapy is a speech-language pathologist owned, private pediatric early childhood clinic for children with autism with locations in Katy, Pearland, and Missouri City, TX. We provide speech therapy in collaboration with our behavioral therapists and occupational therapists for an exciting team approach to pediatric therapy. Our team is looking for a part-time Speech Language Pathology Assistant to begin immediately in Pearland, Tx.
Experience working with children with Autism preferred but not required. The SLPA that begins work with us will have access to move about the clinic to treat patients in your area of choice that includes the designated speech therapy room, play gym, or private treatment rooms. Parent consultations are done once every 3 months to update parents and provide home carryover lessons. The SLPA will partake in team collaborations with our ABA and Occupational Therapy teams to help develop and implement a stronger approach to daily treatment activities.
The location for this role will be primarily for our Pearland clinic, but travel to our other locations may be requested based on staffing needs. Please note that this is a daytime position; our clinics are open from 8am to 5pm, Monday-Friday.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree and an active Texas SLPA License.
