Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a construction project located in Monroe, LA (Estimated Start Date: January 19th). The Project Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing occupational health and safety on the construction project, and will be working very closely with the on-site project management team to ensure subcontractor compliance with company and facility safety policies/procedures. The Project Safety Manager will be responsible for coordinating with other contractors working on site, reviewing project safety plans, JSAs, conduct/lead project safety meetings, conduct safety observations of field construction activities, respond and investigate incidents, etc.
Qualifications
- Experience in Commercial or Industrial Construction
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of occupational safety regulations
- Experience in Health & Safety Training
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred
- Relevant certifications such as CHST, GSP, ASP, or CSP preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience as a Site Safety Professional
Benefits
- $40-47.50/hour (x1.5/overtime hour) (pay dependent upon experience)
