OVERVIEW: The part-time Hiring Coordinator is responsible for providing excellent customer service to applicants while working closely to their regional recruiter and account manager to process and hire a high volume of qualified substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, and school support staff within Santa Rosa County School District.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Physical requirements may vary by assignment and location. Duties may include a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as general use of hands and arms. Close vision is required for computer and detailed work.
Work is typically performed in a moderate-noise environment (e.g., office or school setting with light activity).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional quality service to new applicants throughout the hiring process.
- Move applicants through the hiring pipeline in a timely manner to be able to accept assignments within our systems.
- Manage communication with potential candidates including logistics of interviews and training sessions.
- Assist candidates in obtaining state and federal credentialing and clearances as well as any new hire paperwork needed.
- Enter new employee information into payroll systems, such as tax and direct deposit information.
- Audit all new hire documents and guide candidates through the credentialing process.
- Provide administrative support to the Recruiters and District Manager.
- Ensure compliance with related Federal and state employment eligibility requirements and employment laws.
- Work cooperatively with all members of the team; initiate and maintain excellent working relations.
- Minimum of six months of previous HR/staffing experience required.
- Knowledge of the overall onboarding process.
- Must interact well with others.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Excellent communication skills, written skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office systems and comfortable learning new systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High organizational skills.
- In-office daily
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 4 hours each day with some flexibility on times
- Wednesday 8 hour shift hours
