JOB SUMMARY
The Painter performs wet painting and powder coating operations of sheet metal from 16ga to 7ga into standard products to include all specials, small parts, and templates used to complete the job. All Painters will surface finish all products to reflect finish called out by blueprints, oral instructions, or shop drawings and applicable paint specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING, OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED:
- Perform all duties in a safe manner and promotes “Safety First” mentality across team
- Hangs and wash/etch, and dry parts to be coated and painted
- Stages completed parts per Zone and affix labels according to drawings
- Cleans wet paint spray guns and powder coating machines to maintain them for efficient and safe coating of parts
- Pays close attention to details, these are precision pieces of equipment and must be kept cleaned to perform the high-quality coating required
- Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
Required / Preferred Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with powder coating preferred

The pay range for this role is:
20 - 25 USD per hour(ESS Metron - Denver, CO)
