House Painter

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter/Laborer to join our team. As a Painter/Laborer, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and performing various labor tasks to support construction and remodeling projects. This is a full-time position with competitive pay. Duties: - Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks - Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment - Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results - Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas - Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment - Assist with general labor tasks such as moving materials, operating power tools, and cleaning work areas - Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear Qualifications: - Previous experience as a painter or laborer in the construction industry is preferred - Knowledge of basic math for measuring and calculating paint quantities - Familiarity with airless paint spraying techniques is a plus - Ability to work with various materials such as plaster, carpentry, masonry, stucco, drywall, etc. - Basic understanding of construction estimating is beneficial - Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects when necessary. Must be able to lift 25 lbs or more on a day-to-day basis. This position also requires standing for long periods of time. Must be able to represent the company in a professional manner.
