This role is essential to helping our practice run smoothly by ensuring insurance claims, patient billing, and financial processes are handled accurately and efficiently while maintaining outstanding patient service.

Responsibilities
- Verify patient dental insurance benefits and eligibility prior to appointments
- Submit and track dental insurance claims
- Post insurance payments and enter EFTs accurately in the system
- Manage insurance aging and follow up on outstanding claims
- Handle inbound and outbound insurance and billing calls with professionalism and clarity
- Process patient billing statements and assist with payment arrangements
- Utilize Dentrix practice management software for billing and reporting
- Work with QuickBills for patient statements and insurance billing processes
- Coordinate with the clinical and administrative team to ensure accurate documentation for claims
- Maintain compliance with insurance policies and documentation requirements
Qualifications
- Previous dental billing and insurance coordination experience required
- Experience with Dentrix practice management software
- Knowledge of dental insurance verification, claim submission, and payment posting
- Experience with QuickBills preferred
- Strong communication and patient service skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental office environment
