Solterra Resort is seeking a high-energy, hands-on Resort Lifestyle Coordinator responsible for planning, executing, and owning the guest and resident experience at our amenity center. This position requires someone who can build a program and enhance resident experience by prioritizing community events and implementing personalized communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Programming & Event Execution:
- Plan, schedule, and execute a consistent calendar of resort-style activities and events
- Personally lead and host events including poolside activities, family programming, and seasonal events
- Ensure events are engaging, well-attended, and run professionally from start to finish
- Adapt quickly on-site when attendance, weather, or logistics shift
On-Site Presence & Ownership:
- Be physically present during peak resort hours, especially weekends and holidays
- Act as the face of the lifestyle program, engaging directly with guests and residents
- Take full ownership of the success or failure of each event
Guest Experience:
- Create a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere across the amenity center
- Interact confidently with large groups, families, and guests of all ages
- Anticipate needs and solve issues before they impact the experience
Marketing & Promotion:
- Promote events through flyers, digital platforms, and on-site engagement
- Work with management to ensure branding aligns with a high-end resort experience
- Drive participation through creative programming and consistent visibility
Coordination & Logistics:
- Coordinate with food & beverage, maintenance, and amenity staff for event setup and support
- Manage event materials, supplies, and vendor coordination as needed
- Track attendance, feedback, and program performance
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in event coordination, hospitality, recreation, or lifestyle programming preferred
- Strong personality with the ability to lead, entertain, and engage a crowd
- Self-starter mentality with minimal need for supervision
- Comfortable working outdoors in a resort pool environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Schedule Requirements:
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Schedule is built around peak resort activity times, not a traditional Monday–Friday schedule
- Flexibility is required based on events and seasonal demand
- What Success Looks Like:
- Events are well-attended, high-energy, and professionally executed
- Guests actively seek out and participate in programming
- The amenity center feels alive, not stagnant
- The coordinator is visible, engaged, and clearly in control of their program
