What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a highly competent dental assistant with the following skills and experience:
- Chairside assisting experience in:
- General dentistry procedures, Cosmetic dentistry a plus!
- Sedation appointments
- CEREC crowns, veneers, and appliance fabrication
- Proficiency with:
- Digital scanning and Invisalign workflows
- Fabricating temporaries and seating crowns
- Carestack or Dentrix experience a plus!
- Taking X-rays, intraoral and 2D extraoral photos, as well as CBCT scans
- Charting existing and proposed restorations, documenting periodontal charting, and recording and interpreting vital signs
- Knowledge of sterilization protocols, tray setup, and infection control
- A patient-first mentality with strong communication and organizational skills
- A valuable team centered assistant who is ready to take on new challenges, learn new procedures and maintain a professional and positive attitude.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assisting three dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures
- Preparing patients for treatment and ensuring a comfortable VIP experience
- Maintaining sterile operatories that are in line with OSHA guidelines
- Staying in compliance with HIPPA regulations
- Documenting clinical findings and treatment in patient charts
- Educating patients on procedures and post-operative care
- Contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the practice
