Role Description
The Pre-K teacher is responsible for providing engaging, faith-based education. The role involves developing age-appropriate lesson plans that combine academic and biblical teachings, managing a positive classroom environment, fostering the spiritual, emotional, and developmental growth of each child, and maintaining great communication with the director, staff, volunteers, and parents.
This is a part-time, on-site position (2–3 days per week, mornings).
Essential Job Functions
• Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate lessons
• Support children’s academic, social, and emotional development
• Create a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff
• Integrate faith-based values into daily interactions
Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education
• Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for working with children from diverse backgrounds
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred)
• ESL Certification (Preferred)
