What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Mill Machinist position at ESM?
CNC Mill Machinist
- Must have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, good attendance record and attention to detail.
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Need good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Mechanical Aptitude.
- Able to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and a walk behind floor scrubber if needed.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Set-up and operate multiple machines to produce parts with the use of fixtures and jigs.
- Familiarity with 2D CNC Programs, CNC Programming is desired, but not necessary.
- MasterCam Programming preferrable (mills).
- Proficient with measuring instruments such as a Micrometers, Calipers, Depth Gauges and Go / No-Go Thread Gauges
- Able to interpret blueprints and familiarity with GD&T.
- Experience with robotics and automation a plus.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Details:
- Hours may fluctuate with workload.
- First Shift Machinist Full-Time hours are generally 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Second Shift Machinist Full-Time hours are generally 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
- Overtime may be required as needed.
