Pay and Incentive Plan:
Starting Salary: $114,000 Pay Range: $100,921 - $127,228
In addition to competitive pay and benefits, we offer an annual performance-based incentive that rewards eligible employees for their contributions to our success.
Purpose:
The Purpose Integration Lead advances ESL’s ability to operationalize purpose by building the tools, metrics, and processes that embed our purpose into day‑to‑day decision‑making. They help business units translate purpose into actionable strategies, measurable outcomes, and improvements to products, policies, and operations. This role drives alignment, accountability, and continuous learning across teams to ensure consistent adoption of purpose‑driven practices. This role ensures that our purpose - to help our community thrive and prosper - is integrated across all ESL teams and functions to impact over 433,000 external members and 1,000 internal employees.
Accountabilities:
Embed purpose into decision-making frameworks and core processes
- Develop, maintain and improve purpose-related tools and decision guides.
- Integrate purpose checkpoints into product, policy, and operational workflows.
- Facilitate sessions with teams to apply purpose in decision-making.
- Support governance processes that ensure alignment and consistency.
Support purpose aligned business strategy and innovation
- Translate purpose into actionable strategies and operational improvements.
- Assist in developing business cases that reflect purpose-driven goals.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to test, refine, and scale new approaches.
- Document learnings and ensure insights inform future initiatives.
Build purpose metrics, measurement infrastructure, and reporting
- Develop and maintain purpose-aligned metrics and indicators.
- Partner with analytics teams to implement dashboards and reporting tools.
- Support measure–learn–adapt cycles and translate findings into recommendations.
- Help teams interpret and use purpose-related data in decision-making.
Manage intake, prioritization, communication, and change support
- Manage intake and prioritization of purpose-aligned opportunities and requests.
- Maintain a roadmap of initiatives and ensure effective cross-functional coordination.
- Ensure clear internal communication materials explaining how purpose applies to daily work.
- Support education, storytelling, and change enablement efforts across the organization.
Align teams, incentives, and operating routines with ESL’s purpose
- Collaborate with HR/Total Rewards to incorporate purpose into performance practices.
- Clarify internal roles and handoffs to ensure coordinated execution.
- Develop materials and tools that support adoption of purpose-centered practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or 4 years of directly related experience required
- In addition, a minimum of 7 years of experience in any combination of: product or program management, strategy/innovation, corporate social responsibility, change management, customer experience, or data-driven continuous improvement
- Demonstrated experience embedding frameworks into business processes (e.g., strategy updates, policy updates, scorecards)
- Strong analytical skills (financial analysis, performance measure design, dashboard management)
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects without formal authority
- Superior critical thinking skills
- Ability to research and build structure and processes around new ideas
- Proven ability to independently manage complex activities
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with the highest levels of management, drive consensus and strategic decision making
- Demonstrated interpersonal, and team building skills, especially in cross-functional teams; ability to collaborate with team members and leaders throughout the company
- Highly effective communications skills (written and verbal)
- PC proficient (Excel, Power Point, Word)

Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA preferred with focus on strategy, analytics, corporate social responsibility preferred

Demonstrated project and process management skills using process improvement methodology and tools
