Job Summary:
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, testing, and supporting mechanical systems, equipment, and processes. The role requires strong technical expertise in engineering design and analysis, with the ability to interpret blueprints, create engineering drawings, and support factory/manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, machines, engines, and mechanical devices.
- Analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to assess time, cost, and feasibility.
- Investigate equipment failures and system issues; recommend solutions to restore functionality and prevent recurrence.
- Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Implement operating procedures, resolve malfunctions, and provide technical expertise to teams.
- Support factory floor operations by addressing Bill of Materials (BOM) issues, configuration problems, and design clarifications.
- Participate in new product introduction, assisting with assembly line integration and compatibility checks.
- Use computer-based engineering tools (e.g., CAD, Teamcenter, PLM systems) to develop and review designs.
