- Notes: Extended Year Opportunities are Subject to Board Approval** Utility workers will focus on custodial duties for added support to the maintenance and operations department with tasks that may include: Loading, delivering, and unloading materials and furniture. Set-up and take down of chairs, tables, and equipment. Custodial tasks including cleaning and disinfecting classroom furniture and bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, picking up and emptying of trash.
These positions are made available for current EUSD employees only. Employees will be on-call based on the needs of the maintenance & operations department. ** Extended Year Opportunities are subject to Board Approval** Salary per Merit Rule 7.300.3: "A regular employee working in a summer school/extended year/intersession assignment in his/her own class, a lower class, or a higher class for which "out of class" does not apply, shall be paid at his/her own hourly rate, and shall receive such benefit as are required by law...A regular employee working in a higher class for which "out of class" provisions apply, shall be paid in accordance with Rule 7.300.11"
