Cafe & Sub Shop Team Member

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Pay Range: $8.00 / hour tips

## What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
Because we are a small shop, no two days are exactly the same! Your main goals will be making incredible food and providing awesome customer service.
- Craft Great Food: Slice, portion, and assemble signature subs, salads, and sides exactly to recipe specs and guest preferences.
- Brew & Pour: Operate the espresso machine and coffee brewers to whip up standard cafe drinks (latte art is a bonus, but we can teach you!).
- Welcome Guests: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately at the POS system, and handle cash/card transactions.
- Keep it Clean: Maintain a sparkling clean workstation, follow food safety guidelines, wash dishes, and help with opening/closing checklists.
- Restock & Prep: Keep the sandwich line and coffee bar fully stocked; assist with light prep work (slicing veggies, prepping sauces).
## What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- The Right Attitude: Positive energy, a strong work ethic, and a team-first mindset.
- Speed & Accuracy: Ability to stay calm, organized, and friendly during a busy lunch rush.
- Communication: Clear communication skills with both customers and your teammates.
- Reliability: Showing up on time for your shifts is an absolute must.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and work around kitchen equipment.
- Experience: Previous food service, sandwich-making, or barista experience is a plus, but not required. We are happy to train the right person!
