Project Manager

JOB PURPOSE: To contribute to the success of projects through effective Project Management with clear, detailed recorded communication connecting all parties internal and external in order to result in a compliant, well-functioning, innovative and on time systems to achieve customer satisfaction in line with Esco business objectives. Schedule management is a key part of the role especially for projects with liquidated damages on late delivery, therefore reporting and mitigation of delays is important to feed to all stakeholders.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES (General Guide):-

1. Work at all times in a manner which gives the highest consideration to safety, as defined by local regulations and Company procedures, this includes the use of PPE;
2. Work with suppliers, contractors and clients to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintaining the highest levels of business ethics is imperative. Clear, accurate transmittal of knowledge / data between clients, cross functional teams and management.
3. Schedule Management – compilation and maintenance of project schedules including regular communication with customers and internally to ensure transfer of status and schedule adherence. Management of own workload to achieve overall schedule. Schedule management and adherence will be a measurable marker of project / self-performance.
4. Concept Drawings: Concept designs, including sketches, accurate site measurement drawings and P&ID / process sketches to facilitate the transfer of information and required design intent against client or Esco driven user requirement specifications. Review with cross functional teams to ensure compliance against specifications and feasibility of design. Assist if required in sourcing of custom and standard components, prototyping and conduction of ergonomic trials to ensure equipment suitability for their process.
5. Manufacturing Drawings: Review of design and production drawings against the client URS and as sold scope to ensure compliance prior to release to production.
6. Documentation: Review of Design & Functional Specifications, O&M Manuals, Technical Files, works instructions and validation documentation. Hand-over documentation pack and presentation to production to allow sufficient transfer of data and knowledge for the manufacture and assembly of the new product.
7. Budgets: Detailed live monitoring, tracking & reporting to adhere to budgets and compliance through value engineered designs, sourcing of parts, specification adherence, schedule, time management and planning.
8. Assembly / Testing: Transfer of any project knowledge specifics to the team. Monitoring of progress against the project schedule. Quality review of the system to ensure build compliance to the specifications. Assist / overview in validation of the equipment with the customer.
9. Site Visits: Site surveys of installation requirements, access and highlight of design restrictions. Produce meeting minutes and schedule / delegate actions accordingly.

1. Training: In addition to own training, actively share personal knowledge and skills to further educate others in order to develop the team.
2. Understand requirements for Aseptic and Non-Aseptic Isolator Systems and their construction and purpose in detail to ensure proficient customer communication.
3. Utilize industry reference guides to provide a compliant system including cGMP in the compliant construction of equipment.
4. Report to direct management and senior management on project costs and scheduling.
5. Domestic and potential international travel required within the role.
