Food Court Cleaner — Job Description, Responsibilities, and Duties
A food court cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment in food court areas of the mall. Their work ensures customers and staff have a pleasant and sanitary dining experience while meeting health and safety standards .
Key Responsibilities Skills and Qualifications
- Wipe down tables, chairs, trays, and other surfaces; sanitize high-touch areas regularly
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove dirt, food debris, and spills promptly.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste
- Clean toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors; replenish supplies like toilet paper and paper towels
- Remove food spills, broken glass, and other messes quickly to prevent hazards
- Provide a positive, professional attitude to patrons and staff
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning, preferably in a food service environment J
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment with attention to detail
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques for food service areas
- Strong communication skills and teamwork ability
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Schedule: Times available are 11am to close Monday thru Sunday
