Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager to lead our operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive overall business success. The ideal candidate will have strong management skills, retail experience, and a passion for creating memorable experiences for our guests. This role involves overseeing daily store functions, managing staff, maintaining our games, and implementing strategies to maximize revenue and operational efficiency.
Duties
- Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff scheduling
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to ensure high performance and excellent guest experiences
- Manage purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock control to optimize inventory levels and reduce shrinkage
- Oversee cash handling procedures, scheduling, and connecting with our management time with accuracy and integrity
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, POS system operations, and store policies
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, employee orientation, and leadership development
Skills
- Proven management experience in retail or hospitality environments with supervising responsibilities
- Strong negotiation skills for vendor relations and purchasing negotiations
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Proficiency in retail math, cash handling, POS systems, and inventory control software
- Skilled in employee training & development, team management, and shift supervision
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques, marketing strategies, and merchandising principles
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with excellent organizational skills and time management
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and financial reporting
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on customer service excellence
- Familiarity with wireless sales or general operations is advantageous
