Cluemaster

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Cluemaster to join our team, bringing energy and enthusiasm to a vital role that ensures the smooth operation of our event and entertainment experiences. The Cluemaster is responsible for designing, organizing, and managing clues, puzzles, and interactive elements that engage participants and create memorable adventures. This role requires excellent organizational skills, creativity, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will thrive in fast-paced environments, demonstrate strong communication abilities, and have a keen eye for detail to craft compelling challenges that captivate audiences.

Duties

• Develop and design engaging clues, puzzles, and riddles tailored to specific themes or events
• Coordinate with event teams to ensure seamless integration of clues into overall experiences
• Manage the setup and breakdown of interactive elements at event sites or designated locations
• Assist with on-site supervision during events to ensure clues are correctly placed and maintained
• Communicate effectively with clients, participants, and team members to provide instructions and support
• Maintain detailed records of clue inventories, event progress, and participant interactions
• Support other event planning activities such as scheduling, logistics coordination, and client communication

Requirements

• Proven experience in event coordination or entertainment roles; background in puzzle design or game master duties is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills for working with families, clients, and team members
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling when setting up or breaking down clues or equipment
• Valid driving license for transportation between event sites or locations as needed
• Experience in funeral & mortuary services or bereavement support is desirable but not mandatory
• Knowledge of safe lifting practices to prevent injury during physical tasks
• Administrative experience including records management and documentation skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including on-call coverage for last-minute event needs or emergencies
• Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude towards diverse audiences
• Event planning expertise with attention to detail in organizing complex activities
