What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intervention Specialist (Moderate/Intense or Mild to Moderate) position at ESC?
The Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio is seeking interested and qualified candidates for a full time Moderate to Intense or Mild to Moderate Intervention Specialist Teaching position assigned to Carrington Behavioral Health in East Cleveland, Ohio for the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates with or eligible for Unlimited Substitute Teacher ODE license to be considered.
The assignment is a full time teacher position with other specialized staff for a self-contained specialized middle and high school aged classroom serving students identified with general and special education needs which may include with moderate to severe communication, social, medical, emotional needs, challenges and delays. Carrington is open to this being an as-needed position if that is a better fit for the candidate.
Experience serving school aged students with emotional and behaviorally issues strongly considered or extensive knowledge and skill set needed in a self contained, alternate assessment academic standards classroom setting in a separate self-contained classroom setting in a separate building.
Working collaboratively with multiple staff members and families needed.
