Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Entry-Level Accountant to join our accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their accounting career to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment. You will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, and maintaining accurate records using NetSuite and other tools.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and collections follow-up.
• Perform data entry and maintain general ledger accounts in NetSuite.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing financial reports and schedules.
• Analyze financial data and assist in preparing basic financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and basic accounting principles (GAAP).
• Collaborate with the accounting team on ad-hoc projects and audits as needed.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required); or currently pursuing a degree in Accounting.
• Prior accounting experience or internships preferred but not required.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP system is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
