Summary/Objective
Contractor position available as a Campground/Day Use Cleaner on a facility maintenance services contract located at the Lake Cumberland Recreational Facility that is maintained by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The area cleaner will be responsible for duties as presented in Performance Work Statement for area in which they are responsible for.
$17.75/hr plus benefits paid for with H&W dollars (currently $5.36/hr)
Essential Functions
Perform routine cleaning, custodial and remedial maintenance duties as described in contract Performance Work Statement. Some of these duties include:

The candidate should have general customer service skills as position requires working in a public forum. Candidate should have ability to self-perform tasks in an efficient, effective manner .

Essential Functions
Perform routine cleaning, custodial and remedial maintenance duties as described in contract Performance Work Statement. Some of these duties include:
- Maintaining a safe working environment, abiding by all proper safety protocol and wearing all appropriate Personnel Protective Equipment.
- Bathroom and Shower House cleaning
- Campsite, pavilion and shelter cleaning
- Litter Pick-Up
- Leaf and Debris Removal, may involve hand tools or gas blowers.
- Lawn & landscaping Duties
Required Eligibility Qualifications
The candidate should have general customer service skills as position requires working in a public forum. Candidate should have ability to self-perform tasks in an efficient, effective manner .
- Proficiency in oral and written communications in English.
- Clean Driving Record and Background Check (must provide DOB, SS#, DL# & State upon request)
- Valid Drivers License
- Pass pre-employment and/or random non-DOT drug and alcohol screening
- CPR and First Aid Certification (employer can schedule training)
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to bend, sit, stand, twist, kneel and walk for extended period of time.
- Graduation from a standard vocational, high school or GED is preferred.

- This position has no supervisory responsibilities
