Job Summary

Warehouse Associates are responsible for a variety of warehouse tasks, including, but not limited to loading and unloading of trucks, unloading of container shipments for storage in warehouse facilities, picking materials stocked in the warehouse to be used in production, picking packaged product for labeling and shipment out to customers. All of these tasks involve frequent use of warehouse machineries such as a forklift, pallet jack, wrapper, picker machine, turret truck, and other warehouse equipment, as well as frequent heavy lifting.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate various motorized lift equipment to perform routine tasks including, but not limited to, product movement, stock handling, and assisting in loading & unloading shipments as needed
• Perform routine warehouse duties
• Pull all finished goods for orders
• Assist in putting raw materials and finished goods in the correct zones after receiving
• Daily operating duties which may include loading & unloading trucks (as assigned), filling pull orders, stock repackaging, recording tracking numbers, and shipment staging
• May float between job tasks from filling, loading, labeling, and sanitation in a variety of zones based on the needs of the business
• Cleaning & sanitization along with zone/warehouse cleaning & maintenance as required
• Perform minor equipment maintenance, and sanitization duties
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by properly disposing of waste materials, sweeping floors, and removing the trash daily
• Perform miscellaneous job-related and duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities -

• Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment
• Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers
• Physically able to lift and manipulate heavy objects
• Clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in writing
• Strong organizational skills
• Work independently with minimal supervision
  
  

Experience, Education, And Training -

• High school diploma/GED required
• Equivalent combinations of education and work experience will be considered
• Food & Beverage or perishable goods industry experience highly desirable
