$24.00 - $30.00 per Hour (Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications)

Job Summary

Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support efficient daily operations. This role requires a highly skilled and dependable individual with extensive mechanical and electrical knowledge, capable of working independently, diagnosing complex issues, and implementing effective solutions. The technician plays a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe, clean, and high-performing work environment. This position also serves as a backup to the Maintenance Mechanic, stepping into higher-level responsibilities and supporting more complex repairs and maintenance initiatives as needed.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facility systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues in a timely manner
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to schedules
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Assist with installation, setup, and relocation of equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations

Requirements

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities -

• Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Capable of handling physically demanding work and lifting as required
• Willingness to learn and take on increased responsibility
  
  

Experience, Education, And Training -

• High school diploma or GED required
• 5 years of general maintenance and/or building and grounds experience
• 1 year of manufacturing experience, strong mechanical experience
  
  

Physical Requirements And Working Conditions

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is subject to the following requirements:

• To see, talk, and hear
• Use their hands and fingers to handle, feel, or type
• Walk, sit, stand, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, or exert up to 50 pounds of force to move something
• This position requires the regular use of power equipment and hand tools
• A variety of physical conditions include proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, or potential exposure to chemicals/paint fumes
• Exposed to strong aromas of spice, allergens, and particulates in the air
