Schedule: Sunday thru Thursday night 10 p.m. – 6 a.m.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Floor Technician to join our environmental services team. The Floor Tech is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of all flooring surfaces throughout the facility. This role plays a vital part in creating a welcoming and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, strip, wax, buff, and polish floors according to facility standards.

• Operate floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums safely and efficiently.

• Maintain carpeted areas through vacuuming, shampooing, and spot cleaning.

• Assist housekeeping staff with general cleaning duties when needed.

• Follow infection control, safety, and OSHA guidelines at all times.

• Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.

• Ensure storage areas are clean, organized, and equipment is maintained.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care or housekeeping experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus).

• Ability to operate floor care machinery.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Dependable, with good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to lift, push, or move up to [X lbs] as needed.
