What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wind Turbine Technician position at ERSG Ltd?
ERSG is partnering with one of the country’s largest renewable energy owner/operators to grow their team of wind technicians in West Texas. This opportunity is open to entry-level technicians from renewable energy and oil & gas backgrounds. Ideal candidates live near Midland, Odessa, or Lamesa. Training will be provided. Starting January 2026.
Position Summary
- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on wind turbines.
- Perform work following company safety protocols and procedures and using appropriate PPE.
- Use all equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
- Participate in training and education as needed.
Requirements
- Wind School Diploma OR 1 Year of Wind Technician Experience OR Oil field experience
- Authorized to work in the US
- Flexibility and willingness to travel for extended periods
- Ability/willingness to work at heights
- Professional, positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Career minded - looking for long term opportunity and development
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug-screen and background check
- Valid driver's license
