Scrum Master-
Location: silver spring,MD
Job Summary:
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
The qualified candidate will be the advocate for assigned teams, will ensure Scrum practices are followed, manage Scrum ceremonies focusing on velocity and innovation and encourage team empowerment to achieving customer value. Working collaboratively with the Product Owner, the team and other Scrum Masters you will be responsible for continuously increasing teams' velocity using whatever innovate techniques required. You will need to be an expert in removing impediments, engaging stakeholders and be comfortable working with all levels of management in support of your teams.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
- Minimum of one or more (1 ) years of Scrum Master experience
- Minimum of three or more (3 ) years working in a Software Development Organization OR Health Information Systems
- Minimum of three or more (3 ) years of experience working with Scrum Methodologies OR in an Agile Environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Scrum Master Certification
- Strong knowledge and passion about Agile principles especially Scrum methodology
- Confidence in facilitating change and in challenging the status quo to foster team growth
- Motivated to continuously improve
- Proven ability to crush impediments
- Experience leading a team into an Agile environment
