Job Summary
The Field Manager is responsible for the successful execution of construction activities in the field from project start through completion. This role leads daily jobsite operations, coordinates field personnel and trade partners, maintains project quality and safety, and partners with the Project Manager to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to Ernst Brothers' standards.

Essential Job Functions & Key Tasks
Field Leadership
- Lead daily construction activities on assigned projects, coordinating field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and deliveries
- Plan and sequence work to maintain project momentum, performing layout and verifying field conditions to ensure accurate execution of plans
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite at all times
Quality & Safety
- Ensure all work meets Ernst Brothers' quality standards through routine inspections throughout construction
- Promote and enforce jobsite safety expectations, identify deficiencies, and coordinate corrective action
Project Execution
- Partner with the Project Manager to maintain project schedules, coordinate daily work activities, and resolve field issues proactively
- Review plans and specifications to ensure accurate execution and communicate project progress, risks, and schedule impacts
Documentation & Systems
- Complete Procore Daily Logs accurately and consistently; maintain site documentation, photos, and field records
- Support punch list development and project closeout, following Ernst Brothers' SOPs and field processes throughout
Team Leadership
- Lead, develop, and support field personnel, carpenters, and apprentices while fostering a positive, professional jobsite culture
- Coordinate subcontractors and hold them accountable to project expectations and Ernst Brothers' standards

Qualifications
Required
- 5 years of construction field leadership experience
- Strong understanding of residential and/or commercial construction methods and sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license
Preferred
- Luxury residential and/or commercial construction experience
- Procore experience
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training
Physical Requirements
- Walk active construction sites and climb ladders and stairs daily
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Operate construction equipment and power tools as needed
- Travel between project locations

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
