Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to maintain healthy turf.
- Execute landscape maintenance activities such as pruning trees and shrubs, planting flowers, and mulching beds.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks like trimming, edging, and installing hardscape features.
- Operate equipment such as excavators, skid steer, and snow plows when seasonal conditions require.
- Assist with construction projects including patio installation, walkway building, and other hardscape features.
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure safety and efficiency on the job site.
Qualifications
- Prior experience or knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and landscaping equipment.
- Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of horticulture principles and tree care techniques.
